Are Paid Surveys Scams?

If you’re someone who’s been interested in making money with paid surveys, I'm almost certain that one of your first questions is, "Are these sites scams?"

Let’s say that you go to Google.com and type paid online surveys. It’s likely that you’re going to see many ads offering you to make fast money. There will even be companies that claim they’ll make you even more than $100 per hour. Should you believe them? I’ll tell you from now that most sites like these are scams. Unfortunately, when people see these ads, they start to think that all online survey are scams. Believe me when I say that this is not true.

The truth is, although there are many scam sites, there are also many legitimate paid surveys. It’s not possible to find out what companies are scams before trying them, so I recommend that you just put your fears aside and join several sites. I can almost guarantee that you’ll see good results over time.

But wait! You can’t just join sites willy-nilly! In this post, I'm going to give you some very important information on finding the best surveys for money companies for your needs. If you follow my advice, you can expect to find legitimate companies and start making money almost immediately.

 - First of all, make sure that the site you’re joining works with as many survey companies as possible and that all the companies are well known. This is important because there’s a good chance that sites serving only small companies are scams,  and they won’t pay you anything.

 - Only look for free paid surveys that pay. There are many companies that only charge a one-time fee for joining up, but I wouldn't recommend them. There’s no good reason to pay for something that’s free somewhere else, and there a lot of free sites that you can join first. If you want to pay for registration, go ahead; it’s up to you. Frankly, though, I’ve never paid for registration with an online survey.

 - Try to find more information about the sites you like. You can easily research the sites you find by Googling their names + key words like “review” or “scam”. By doing this, you can find information such as other users’ experiences with the site that will help you make more informed decisions about signing up. I'd recommend that you look for as much information as possible before joining a site.

 - Avoid obvious scam sites with offers that sound too good to be true. If a site looks like a scam, it probably is. Online companies that make improbably claims (such as paying more than $150 per hour) mostly turn out to be scams, and you won’t make any money from them at all. Many legitimate paid surveys say something like this on their homepage, “You won't become rich, but you will make money.” That looks like much more believable than something like, “Start making money and get paid up to $100 per hour in the next several minutes,” wouldn’t you agree? As long as the site doesn’t look like a scam, I would join it.

 - Join as many paid online surveys as you can. I recommend that you look for as many free sites as you can find and join them all. It’s also a good idea to look for sites that pay you every week. Not only do you lose nothing, but you’re also making sure that the company pays you faster.
